1966 Mustang Pro Street blends beauty and power with over 1400 horsepower

Can you imagine having 1,483 horsepower at your disposal? Take a look at this video and hear exactly how they coaxed 1,208 horsepower out of a 351 small block Windsor engine and topped it up with 250 potential extra horsepower from nitrous. It’s worth watching just for the first time you hear the motor turn over - it idles perfectly!
Through a power stroke and nitrous boost, this baby blue Mustang puts out 1,483 horsepower while retaining all of the fit and finish of the original 1966 Mustang, making this pony car the definitive drag race car. The tour of the engine is a petrol head’s dream come true - every surface is polished to a mirror perfection and there’s no wasted space. Every single nut is facing the same way – that’s dedication!

Even the interior has been lovingly restored and meticulously well kept - you won’t find any chintzy boost gauges or aftermarket racing seats here. Everything is kept to the original flavor of the ‘66 - even the radio! The rear of the car features a drag wheelie bar in chrome, a full roll cage (which is necessary with this amount of power!), a 4” custom exhaust and a mini display case built into the trunk.
Though the interior and exterior are all original, the working parts are a different story. Featuring a Hurst transmission and a glove box housing a truly impressive ignition system, all being pulled by a Klein-built engine, this truly is beauty and the beast.
