Stand back, bystanders – watch what this driver does when the light turns green

There is nothing quite as satisfying as the roar of a car engine — especially when it's coming from a red hot Lamborghini Aventador. In the video below, this supercar rips through the crowded streets of London, leaving a wake of cars and intrigued passersby.
Besides the sound, you can spot this Lambo from a mile away. Not only is the red molten hot, but the sharp edges scream with the dynamism and aggression that the supercar brand has built its empire upon. Of course, this exquisite piece of design is made out of carbon fiber to keep it light, too.

The Lamborghini Aventador can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, thanks to its 6.5-liter V-12 engine that generates 700 CV at 8,250 rpm. You get a peek of that in the video below when the driver revs the Aventador's engine on Sloane Street in central London — peeling off the line at the red light and showing incredible launch control before zipping into the distance.
Believe us when we say you're going to want to check out this car — and the incredible sounds it makes — for yourself. Be sure to watch the video below for an exclusive look at the Lamborghini Aventador ripping through central London.
