A 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz 350hp engine powers the Posse. The engine employs technology that reduces NOx and particulate emissions, which improves fuel economy, responds more quickly to sudden needs for power and contributes to a cleaner environment. Double-circuit hydraulics supply power to harvester head and crane, and new engine and transmission technologies enhance stability control. These improvements make the Bear safer and more efficient on steeper slopes than prior models.
