You need to see this crazy burnout in a 1967 GTO

For sheer power and fury, few cars rival the muscle machines of the late '60s, and this 1967 Pontiac GTO with fuel-injected V-8 is no exception. Listen to the low, throaty growl of the engine as the driver starts to gun it -- and then look out as the sound of this machine grows so loud that it distorts the microphone and a virtual cyclone of smoke emerges from the frenzied spinning of the tires!
The year 1967 was transitional for the Pontiac GTO; in 1968, GM would redesign the body significantly. The 1967 GTO came standard with a 400-cubic-inch, 120-inch bore, 3.75 stroke V-8 engine, Rally II wheels with colored lug nuts, a split grille that shared a chrome framework (a change from 1966’s entirely split grille), and it was available in hardtop, convertible or sports coupe.

Net Car Show recently had some time on the track with a model similar to the one in the video to put it through its paces. The driver was able to do a quarter-mile run in 14 ½ seconds with a speed of over 98 miles per hour!
This is a beast to behold, and the burnout shown here will not be easily forgotten. Take a look at this crazy burnout in the video below, and SHARE it if you love it!
